Mysuru, February 11:- A meeting of Mysuru District Brahmana Mahasabha, Sandhya Suraksha Trust and Karnataka Brahmana Hiriya Nagarika Vedike was held at Sandhya Chethana auditorium at Ramakrishna Nagar here on Monday.
Around 275 members attended the meeting. Dr B R Nataraja Jois presided over the meeting.
He asked the members to elect B V Manjunath as the president of Akhila Karnataka Brahmana Mahasabha to protect the organisation. The meeting expressed its unconditional support to Manjunath, who is the candidate from Mysuru.
Senior vice-president of AKBMS, Ho Na Hiriyanna Swamy, Siri Channel chief G Ravi, social worker Dr Kamala Raman, Dr K V Lakshmidevi, M L Krishnaswamy, Dr Chandrashekhar, Venkataram Kashyap, J Ramesh, Ajay Rao, Aravinda Shastry, Bhaskar, Gadadhar, Prof S Susheela, Mangala Jois and others were present.
Manjunath said that he would fulfill the promises and faith the community leaders have on him. (MR/GK).
