Mysuru, January 22:- “Job Fair for Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, Mandya and Hassan districts will be held in the second week of February in Mysuru. The department should make preparations for the fair,” said Labour and Skill Development Minister Santosh Lad. He was speaking at a review meeting held at the DC office.
“More than 90,000 people have enrolled for the job fair from all the five districts. They need to know about the company that provides the job, their requirement and the salary. Around 8,810 from Chamarajanagar district, 19,825 from Hassan, 4,978 from Kodagu, 17,382 from Mandya and 39,883 people from Mysuru have enrolled. They have to be divided according to their educational qualification,” he added.
“Give prior training to the candidates so that they attend the interview with confidence. Around 200 companies will attend the job fair and they have told there are 7,000 job opportunities up for grab. After finalising the date, companies are expected to take part,” the minister said.
Director of Karnataka Skill Development Board, Muralidhar Halappa, Ashrafulla, Aditya Biswas, Sameer Shukla, Deputy Commissioner D Randeep and others were present. (MR/KS).
