Mysuru, March 14:- People of Talakadu hobli who faced enough problems due to unavailability of doctors at Talakadu Community Health Centre have finally heaved a sigh of relief as doctors have been appointed after nearly one year.
People of the rural areas would have been benefited if the hospital was functioning. Due to the unavailability of doctors, people had to go to T Narasipura and other towns for treatment. When Dr H C Mahadevappa was the minister, he had got the hospital constructed at Talakadu. But the appointment of doctors never happened during his tenure.
During the state Assembly elections, present MLA M Ashwin Kumar had assured of appointing doctors if he gets elected. Now he has fulfilled the promise. (MR/KS).
