Doctors remove 12-kg tumor from woman’s stomach
Mysuru, December 1:- Doctors have successfully removed a 12-kg tumour from a woman’s stomach after a marathon surgery here on Thursday.
Salma (47), a resident of Shantinagar, was complaining of stomach pain regularly. When she visited a hospital, the doctor advised her to undergo a surgery as there was a tumour in her stomach. Scared of the cost of the surgery, she didn’t go to a hospital. When her pain became unbearable, her relatives admitted her to Sridevi Nursing Home. Dr B D Devaraj conducted the surgery and removed the 12- kg tumour. (MR/KS).
