Don’t be in a hurry to open schools: AH Vishwanath

Mysuru, May 18:- Former minister and BJP leader AH Vishwanath congratulated everyone who worked effectively to make Mysuru district coronavirus-free. He was speaking at a press meet held in the city on Sunday.

“Discussions are being held whether to reopen schools or not. The government should not be in a hurry to reopen schools. Online classes are not good for children. Children should not be provided with cell phones. Software companies have come forward to prepare a syllabus for students. This is not their field of expertise. This will lead to chaos. Companies want money. That’s why they are doing all these. Government has to think patiently about this. I was also the education minister of the state. Teachers should not be used for any other work other than that of the Education Department. I had also ordered the same as an education minister. Census or whatever it is, don’t use teachers for it,” he added.
