Dr MP Varsha appointed as special advisor to Nepal’s cultural mission

Mysuru, January 25:- Dr MP Varsha from Mysuru has been appointed as the special advisor to Indo-Nepal Samarastha organisation functioning under the first Vice President of Nepal, Parmananda Jha. The international Samarastha Manch having its headquarters in Kathmandu has been working to provide veto power to India in Security Council of United Nations.

Dr Varsha who is among the renowned progressive thinkers and social workers has provided entrepreneurship training for more than 1,25,000 youths. He is also the founder and managing trustee of Credit – I institution having its head office in the city.

He has founded more than 600 self-help groups (SHG) for women and provided them financial aid to the tune of Rs 40 crore through NABARD Financial Services Limited. He has also constructed rehabilitation centres for homeless at Hassan and Bhadravati towns. He has conducted workshops on effective teaching and exam preparations in government PU Colleges free of cost.

Observing his contributions to the society, the district administration awarded him with Kannada Rajyothsava award 2019 and he was honoured with Vishwamanyaru International Award from Kuwait, International Achievers Award from Thailand, National Award from Global Triumph Foundation, Seva Bhushana Award in memory of Rajashekar Koti and other awards.
