Dr MP Varsha gets Atal Samarastha International Award

Mysuru, December 17:- Indo-Nepal Samarastha organisation has announced Atal Samarastha International Award – 2019-20 for social worker Dr MP Varsha.

The award is being given in the name of the former prime minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The award will be given on the occasion of 95th birth anniversary of Vajpayee on December 25 at the Indian Society of International Law, Krishna Menon Bhavan, New Delhi.

Dr MP Varsha who is among the renowned progressive thinkers and social workers has provided entrepreneurship training for more than 1,25,000 youths. He is also the founder and managing trustee of Credit – I having its central office in the city.

He has founded more than 600 self-help groups (SHG) for women and provided them financial aid of Rs 40 crore through NABARD financial services limited. He has also constructed rehabilitation centres for homeless in  Hassan and Bhadravati towns. He has conducted workshops on effective teaching and exam preparations in Government PU Colleges free of cost.

Observing his contributions to the society, the district administration awarded him Kannada Rajyotsava award 2019, and he was honoured with Vishwamanyaru international Award from Kuwait, International Achievers Award from Thailand, a national award from Global Triumph Foundation, Seva Bhushan Award in memory of Rajashekar Koti and other awards.
