Drugs case: CCB raids absconding Aditya Alva’s residence

Prime  News, State, (Bengaluru), September 15:-The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police who have been investigating the drugs menace which supposedly has links with Sandalwood celebrities on Tuesday (September 15) morning raided the residence of Aditya Alva, son of former minister, Jeervaraj Alva and Nandini Alva.

The residence of Aditya Alva in question is located at Hebbal here. Reports said that the CCB police had obtained a search warrant from the court on Monday and conducted the raid early morning on Tuesday.

CCB inspector, Anjumala Nayak and Puneet led the raiding team.
The CCB personnel have stepped their investigation and search is also on in major cities like Mumbai, New Delhi and other states for Aditya Alva.
Aditya Alva, accused in the drugs case, has not been traced in spite of the best efforts made since a week. The police are looking for him in the houses of his friends and relatives. The CCB police say that Aditya has switched off his mobile phone and gone into hiding. This is creating bottlenecks for them.
Alva has been reportedly changing his hiding place often. CCB sources say that Aditya, who had close connection with the accused, had taken part in about three parties. He has been named as an accused in a drugs case registered in Cottonpet police station here.
