Duplicate marks card racket in Mysuru; woman arrested

Mysuru, July 22:- Mysuru CCB police have identified an active duplicate marks card racket in the city and arrested a woman.

The arrested is identified as Yashaswini (45), a resident of Gokulam layout. When the police observed Yashaswini trying to escape from her car parked near Mini Vidhanasoudha Nazarbad after seeing the police vehicle, they stopped her and enquired. When they inspected her bag, the police found hundreds of marks cards of various universities of India. During the enquiry she accepted that she was providing fake marks cards. Basavaraju of Belagavi and Kishan of Arasikere were selling the marks cards with the help of Yashaswini. Nazarbad police have registered a complaint. (KS)
