Mysuru, March 2:- “University of Mysore (UoM) has given several prominent personalities to the state. This is one of the most prestigious universities in the country. I am privileged to perform groundbreaking ceremony for seven development works here,” said Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy.
He was speaking after performing groundbreaking ceremony for the new campus and inaugurating new buildings at Crawford Hall of UoM on Friday.
“Universities should provide international quality education. If experts inform us about what the government has to do for it, we are ready to provide all the required facilities. Many people think that education is only for jobs but it is not the case. Researches are not taking place as it used to be earlier,” he said.
