Assembly polls: Plea for BJP ticket

Mysuru, April 4:- A seasoned campaigner in politics, P Purushotham has asked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to give him a ticket to contest from Chamaraja or Chamundeshwari Constituency in the city.

“I have a dry cleaning shop at Mandi Mohalla. I have worked for the party over the last two decades. I have taken part in RSS camps. I was part of Ayodhya Chalo movement and have also been jailed. We helped Pratap Simha win the Lok Sabha elections. Being a leader of Madivala community, I should be given an opportunity,” he added.
