Mysuru, September 08:- Entrepreneurship Development Cell of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Mysuru, organised three-day ‘Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (EAC)’ in the city which concluded on Friday.
The workshop was conducted under the aegis of National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) and Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, New Delhi, in association with Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI), Ahmadabad, Gujarat.
Yeshaswi Nag, programme manager, India Startups, Bengaluru, the chief guest, inaugurated the workshop.
She explained to the students about the latest advancements in entrepreneurial activities and urged them to develop entrepreneurial qualities.
The students from various branches of engineering at GSSSIETW participated in this workshop.
The objective of the camp was to make the participating students aware of entrepreneurship and provide basic knowledge about it and also to guide and motivate the young students to take up entrepreneurship as their career.
Dr M Shivakumar, principal of GSSSIETW, stressed on the importance of entrepreneurship, entrepreneur competencies, business opportunities, steps in starting enterprise and financial support. -KK
