Entry to Chamundi Hills restricted till Oct 7

Prime News, Karnataka, Festival, Mysuru, October 5:- Beginning today (October 5), the district administration has banned the entry of tourists to Chamundi Hills till October 7.

Expecting a large number of tourists tomorrow (October 6) on account of Mahalaya Amavasya wanting to visit the temple, Mysuru Deputy Commissioner Dr Bagadi Gautham has issued orders restricting the entry. But the usual rituals that go with it will be performed by the temple authorities.

The vehicles will also not be allowed and the devotees are also banned from using the steps to reach the temple. However, the vehicles of the residents of Chamundi Hills, VIPs attending Dasara inauguration and officials are allowed. (MR)
