Mysuru, September 19:- “Minister KS Eshwarappa has dubbed former chief minister Siddaramaiah as ‘Vadda and Dadda.’ It is nothing but a derogatory comment. He should apologise for his statement,” said former Member of Parliament R Dhruvanarayan.
He was speaking at a press meet held in the city on Wednesday.
“If public representatives have two eyes, there are thousands of eyes watching them. Ministers should behave responsibly. But Eshwarappa has done a shameful act. We condemn him for his comment against Siddaramaiah. He should publicly apologise for his behaviour,” he urged.
“Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa should drop him from the cabinet for calling MLAs, who have the support of minority voters, as third genders. Why pro-Hindu organisations are silent over the discrimination made against Kolar MP? Why can’t they speak against such heinous act. Public representatives only have done atrocities in Uttar Pradesh after BJP coming to power. Those who have done such things should be punished,” he added.
“Home Minister Amit Shah is trying to abolish the multi-party system in India. He is trying to harm democracy. Nation should have regional parties,” he said.
Congress leaders R Murthy, Venkatesh and others were present. (MR/KS)
