Mysuru, February 24:- Electronic Voting Machines have been brought to the city from Tamil in view of the Karnataka assembly elections slated for the first week of May..
Around 3,000 control units, 3,600 ballet units, 3,500 VVPat machines have been kept at MCC godown opposite Vidyavardhaka College. The machines were unloaded at the godown under the supervision of DC D Randeep and political leaders. Godown will be under tight security.
“Security will be given for the machines through a mobile app. EVM tracking is being used for the first time in Karnataka elections,” the DC informed the press. (MR/KS).
