Farmers protest for loan waiver in Chamarajanagar

Chamarajanagar Jun 14, 2017:- pro farmer organizations staged a protest demanding loan waiver in front of Chamarajanagar Deputy Commissioner office.

Farmers unable to repay loans committing suicides but state and central governments lend a deaf ear to the problems of farmer, instead of waiving farmers loan both the governments neglecting the problems of farmer, also protester raised the slogans against government.

Recently Finance minister Arun Jaitely directed the states to fund farmer loan waiver from state coffins, and no contribution from central governments, RBI director Urjit Patil caution the governments against farm loan waivers.

Demonstrators marched through chamundeshwari temple via double road to DC office, later submitted a memorandum to DC.

Honnuru prakash, Guru Prasad, Bhagya Raju, Basavanna and others were present.
