Mysuru, August 14:- She had to pay a heavy price for no fault of hers. That is the way life goes… One of the two college girls, who were injured in a tragic accident when a speeding a car rammed them on Tuesday morning, has succumbed to her injuries.
Ashwini (18), who was grievously injured after the car ran over her, was rushed to KR Hospital for treatment. But she was shifted to a private hospital as she required better treatment. Having suffered major injuries in the fatal accident, Ashwini died without responding to the treatment.
The two girls, Ashwini and Prema, were on their way to the college when a speeding car, driven by a youngster, hit them from behind. Ashwini had to be rushed to a hospital while Prema, the other girl, escaped with minor injuries.
A native of Gundlupet taluk in Chamarajanagar, Ashwini was studying in Maharani College and was staying in a hostel at Bogadi in the city. (MR/KS)
