‘FEEL Employable’ held at SBRR Mahajana FGC

Jayalakshmipuram: ‘FEEL Employable’ a three – day learning and development intervention programme for students was held at SBRR Mahajana First Grade College, in association with AIMS INSIGHT (College for Leadership and Human Resource Development). The IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) and Career Guidance Cell & Placement Cell took the initiative in organizing this programme. FEEL stands for Facilitating Excellence in Effective Leadership. This programme strongly espouses non-correctional intervention and participatory conceptualization as strategies and methods of development.

 

Director of AIMS INSIGHT Prof Sunney Tharappan, who has trained hundreds of facilitators and thousands of individuals from various educational institutions, NGOs and Corporate sector was the resource person.

 

The programme is designed on concepts of personality development like self-esteem, public speaking skills, facing interviews, participating in group discussions, interpersonal communication skills, writing bio data, team building etc.

 

115 students were the beneficiaries. Principal Dr K V Prabhakara was present on the occasion, Prof Anila, Prof Victor and Prof Venugopal were the other facilitators. IQAC Co-ordinator, Dr G B Aravind, Career Guidance and Placement conveners Shyla and Ranjini Kadam coordinated the programme.
