Felicitation programme for its cadets held at JSS

JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science, BN Road, Mysuru organised a felicitation programme for its cadets Sgt Dhruvakumar BN, Sgt Sandesh S Patel and Sgt Harshitha Jeevan who participated in the Republic Day parade 2017 at New Delhi and Sgt Prajith G 0, who participated in the Tal Sainik Camp in September 2016.

Commanding Officer, 14 KAR BN NCC, Mysure, Lt. Col. M.P. Aravind inaugurated the programme. In his inaugural address, he congratulated the RDC and TSC cadets and said that from Mysuru only 14 cadets participated in RDC and among that from 14 KAR BN, 6 cadets participated in that 3 cadets are from JSS College, Ooty road. It is all due to the blessings of mutt. He also quoted that “you can fool all the people for some time, but not always.” He spoke about the duties of cadets and appreciated these cadets for availing a rare chance to meet the Prime Minister of the country. He congratulated the cadets and further said that, as the NCC cadets have got the basic defence training, they should become role model to other students and join an Indian army.

Prof B V Sambashivaiah, Chief Executive of college presided over the function. Prof. M Mahadevappa, Principal of the college, S Somashekar, Principal, PU College, Dr Vinaykumar L NCC Officer and subedar Major Raghukar from 14 KAR RN NCC Mysuru were present during the programme.

Sgt. Anushya welcomed and Sgt. Nandini K.R. rendered the invocation. The programme was compeered by JUO Bhagyashree and R K. Sgt. Nandini K R Proposed vote of thanks.
