Mysuru: Department of Information Science & Engineering of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women is organising VTU TEQIP 1.3-sponsored five-day program on “Outcome-Based Education and NBA Accreditation” in association Visvesvaraya Technological University, Aryabhatta Knowledge University Patna, Bihar and Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela, Odisha from January 7 to 11.
Dr K . Manjunatha, regional director, VTU regional centre, Mysuru will be the chief guest and Dr B V Ravishankar, principal, BMS College of Engineering, Bengaluru will be the guest of honour.
The Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme aims to upscale and supports ongoing efforts of Government of India to improve quality of technical education and enhance existing capacities of the institutions to become dynamic, demand-driven, quality conscious, efficient and forward-looking, responsive to rapid economic and technological developments occurring both at national and international levels.
This program ensures the faculties of various engineering streams to gain awareness about latest Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and its implications in teaching, assessment and evaluation. We believe this Program will connect faculties of various educational institutions and provides a forum to all academicians which create awareness about Outcome Based Education System to understand the implementation of OBE in NBA Process & to implement various innovative teaching-learning methods.
These lectures will be delivered by eminent experts working in reputed educational institutions. (MR).
