Flight service between Mysuru and Mangaluru begins

Prime News, Karnataka, Aviation Industry, Mysuru, December 11:- The much-anticipated flight service between Mysuru and Mangaluru was flagged off by Mysuru-Kodagu Member of Parliament Pratap Simha here on Friday (December 11). Going by the increase in demand for the flight service between the two cities, the Airport Authority of India (AAI) has given the green signal.

Alliance Air has come forward to offer its service. It will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The flight will leave Mandakalli Airport in Mysuru at 11.20 am and reach Mangaluru at 12.30 pm. The same flight will leave Mangaluru at 12.55 pm and reach Mysuru at 1.55 pm.

Talking on the occasion, Mandakalli Airport director R Manjunath said, “There was a demand for flight service between the two major cities in the state, but due to some technical reasons, it was on hold. Now that the coronavirus has come under control, Alliance Air has come forward.”
