Mysuru, December 27:- Around 60 representatives of 20 countries held talks with officials of Mysuru industries organisation on industrial development and problems.
These foreign officials have come to India on a study tour organised by the ministry of small and medium scale business. The meeting was held to discuss the development of business. Representatives from 20 countries including Egypt, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Ethiopia, Oman, Syria, Sudan, Tanzania, Ghana, Philippines are on a visit to the city.
“Mysuru is a city situated between 2 rivers. Having many tourist spots, the city is a better place for investment,” said former president of the organisation, P Vishwanath.
MIA chief secretary O D Sathyendra Prasad appreciated the works done by the state and central governments for the development of industries.
Vice president of JK Tyres, Umesh Shenoy replied to doubts raised by foreign delegates. He explained to the visitors the measures taken by the JK Tyres to achieve success.
Prof T V Reddy, Dr K Vishweshwar Reddy led the visitors.
Aprameya Vishwanath, Pavan, Dr S Madegowda, and others were present.
The delegation later visited Best Carogators and Sankalpa Beverages Factory. (MR/GK)
