Mysuru, April 11:- Former MLC and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader G Madhusudana on Wednesday has written a letter to BJP state president and former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa urging him not to issue party ticket to former minister S A Ramadas from Krishnaraja Constituency in Karnataka Assembly elections slated for May 12.
Revealing this at a press meet held at Mysuru District Journalists’ Association (MDJA) premises in the city on Wednesday, Madhusudana said, “I have written a letter to Yeddyurappa and urged not to field Ramadas from KR Constituency in the elections as he is facing various charges including land grab and ‘illegal relationship.’ He is a tainted personality in the party and it is necessary for the party to decline party ticket to him.”
In his letter to Yeddurappa, Madhusudana has said, “There are huge chances for BJP to win from Krishnaraja Assembly Constituency in the polls. However, it is said that BJP is trying to field Ramadas from the constituency in the elections. Ramadas is facing various charges and his ‘illegal relationship with a woman’ is out in open. With utmost concern towards the party I request you and the party to not field him in the upcoming election.”
“If tainted Ramadas is given a ticket, the BJP leaders would have to face an embarrassing situation and the party would have no credibility in questioning Congress leaders H Y Methi or Venugopal,” he added.
“As a responsible BJP worker I have been forced to come out in open seeking to decline ticket to Ramadas. Instead the party leaders must field a suitable candidate with a clean image,” he said.
With Madhusudana airing out his grievances in the open, the differences in BJP Krishnaraja Constituency is wide open now.
‘BSY will be next CM’
Speaking to media persons, Madusudana reaffirmed that BJP will win the highest number of Assembly seats and Yeddyurappa will be our next Chief Minister.
There are no chances for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to win from Chamundeshwari Constituency and even his son Dr Yatindra will lose to B Y Vijayendra in Varuna Constituency.-(KK, KMR)
