Mysuru, September 16:- The Department of Information Science and Engineering of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Mysuru, is conducting a four-week internship training programme for the final year students of BE, BCA and diploma.
The event was inaugurated in virtual mode by secretary Vanaja B Pandit on September 8.
Dr Shivakumar M, Principal, GSSSIETW; Dr Reshma Banu, Professor and Head, Department of ISE, faculties and heads of CSE/TCE/EEE/EIE/MBA, teaching and technical staff of ISE Department and students were present.
The internship training programme on “Full Stack Web Development” is being conducted for BE students and final year diploma and BCA students, provides a platform to gain basic knowledge on the front-end concepts and understand the industry standards that are followed. The internship programme is intended to provide hands-on training in offline mode.
More than 50 students have registered for the programme across Mysuru, Mandya, Mangaluru, Hassan and Shivamogga. The internship sessions will be conducted by Dr Reshma Banu; Chandrappa S, Assistant Professor, Department of ISE and M Sumal Raj, Assistant Professor, Department of ISE.
Dr Shivakumar addressed the virtual gathering and highlighted the importance of internship which was preceded by the Presidential address by Vanaja.
The event is being coordinated by Akshatha M, Assistant Professor, Department of ISE.
Neha V Koushik, 7th semester student, Department of ISE, welcomed the dignitaries and participants. Anusha O S, 7th semester student, Department of ISE rendered the invocation song. Meghana S, 7th semester student, ISE, introduced the resource persons. The vote of thanks was delivered by the master of ceremony, Neha V Koushik. (MR)
