Mysuru, February 2:- “A free health camp will be organised at Jyothi School at Vivekananda Nagar in the city on Sunday (February 3),” said Krishnaraja Constituency MLA S A Ramadass at a press meet held at a private hotel on Saturday.
“Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Ashwin Kumar Choube will inaugurate the camp at 11 am. Mysuru-Kodagu Member of Parliament Pratap Simha, Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G Sankar, director of NIMHANS Bengaluru Dr Gangadhar, corporator MC Ramesh, Sunanda Palanethra, Champaka, Geethashree, secretary of Jyothi Educational Institutions A S Chennappa will be present,” he added.
“Health camp will be held from 7 am. The camps have been held at various places for the past 3 weeks. All of them have been successful. Expert doctors from JSS and other hospitals will take part in the event,” he added.
“Check-up regarding heart, skin and diabetes have been held so far. 3,000 patients, 3,000 and 2,473 patients have attended the camp in the past 3 weeks respectively. The health camp will be held in all the constituencies of Mysuru in the coming days,” he added.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) city president Dr Manjunath BH, B S Prashanth of Safe Wheels, founder of GSS Foundation Srihari, BJP state secretary Rajendra and owner of Vaishnavi Sweets Naveen were present. (KS, NGB)
