Mysuru, November 9:- Narayana Multi-Speciality Hospital, JSS Hospital and Government Ayurveda Hospital jointly organised a free health check-up camp for journalists and their family members to mark National Ayurveda Day at the office premises of Mysuru District Journalists’ Association (MDJA) at Agrahara here on Friday.
“Journalists need to undergo health check-up. Ayurveda is one of the richest wealth of India. Earlier, the life expectancy of people was around 120 years, but nowadays youth in the age group 20-30 are passing away. Our nation needs a robust health and education scheme,” he said.
Krishnaraja Constituency MLA S A Ramadass explained about the importance of ayurveda treatment.
Trinetra Mahantha Seer was felicitated on the occasion.
Prakash Yogi, former minister Vijaya Shankar, MDJA president C K Mahendra, Dr Shenoy, Lokesh Babu and others were present. (KMR, NGB)
