Freshers welcomed at GSSIETW
GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women had organised an event to welcome the students of first year B E recently.
M Soundarakumar, Director, Centre for development of Telematics (C-DOT), Bengaluru, in his inaugural speech told the students that technology and innovation should not be used in a wrong way. “Technology must be used to acquire knowledge and the science behind it. Budding engineers must have a positive a positive attitude, skills and spirit to acquire knowledge to face the competitive world,” he said.
On this occasion, college magazine ‘Geetha Vaibhava 2016’ was released by the dignitaries. VTU 1st rank holder Manjeshwar Gayathri Prabhu of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, 2nd rank holder Shanmuga Priya of M.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering were honoured.
The function was presided by Dr M Jagannath Shenoy, President, GSSS, Vanaja B Pandit, Honorary Secretary, O Pratap Kumar Joint Secretary, Srinivas Gupta Vice President, R K Bharath CEO, Anupama B Pandit AAO, GSSSIETW, management members, and Principal Dr Sumithra Devi K A and faculty were present.
