Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji to donate 35 sewing machines

Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji of Avadhoota Datta Peetha, Mysuru, will donate 35 sewing machines to the villagers (the poor and trained in sewing) of Ramanagara district, Channapattana taluk, Sogala village, Sogalapalya, Vaddaradodi, Kaligere and Nereluru, on June 16 at 9.30 am at the Universal Prayer Hall at the ashrama premises, on the occasion of his 75th birthday.

The swamiji’s mother Jayalakshmi was born in Sogala village and the villagers are utilising the house where she lived in Sogala as Dhyana Mandira. Medical camps are conducted and medicines are distributed free of cost every year in the village. Around 600 people benefit from these camps, states a press release from Siddhartha, PRO, Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashrama.
