Mysuru, August 7:- Gandhian and social activist Surendra Kaulagi passed away of ill health in the city on Sunday night. He was 84.
He was admitted to Kamakshi Hospital in the city following a heart attack, where he breathed his last.
The final rites of Kaulagi will be held near Hosajeevana Road in Melukote on Monday afternoon, according to family sources. He is survived by two sons, a host of relatives and friends.
Kaulagi has worked with Vinoba Bhave. He had established Janapada Seva Trust at Melukote. He was honoured with Jamnalal Bajaj award and had rejected the Karnataka Rajyothsava award.
