The Director of CPDPS was speaking at an entrepreneurship awareness programme held at JSS Women’s College yesterday
Saraswathipuram: CPDPS Director Niranjan Vanalli urged the students to inculcate entrepreneurship qualities and excel on their chosen field.
He was speaking after inaugurating an entrepreneurship awareness programme organised by JSS Women’s College at its auditorium on Friday.
Addressing the participants, he said that the present day students are stuck with academics and scoring marks and the education system also fosters the same. Lack of general knowledge has been a major hindrance to the students when they enter the service sector. He observed that in private institutions, they pay a handsome salary and they have a heavy workload. The management knows how to get the work done, he noted, saying that candidates need good skills to survive such circumstances. Students should be moulded to develop a good relationship at workplace, he added.
Dr Niranjan Vanalli said that besides academics, students must be inculcate entrepreneurship qualities so that they can deliver better. Education should be based on making students build their life and for this, the huge gap that exists between educational institutions and industry should be eliminated, he said.
“Everyone will get a turning point in their lives and we need to wait with patience and put in efforts to grab the opportunities that come on our way,” Dr Vanalli advised students.
D T Ramanuja from Focuss Academy; Principal JSS Women’s College Dr Nagaraj and Academic Dean Honnappa were present during the event.
