‘GK Master Pranaya Prasanga’ to be staged tomorrow
City’s theatre group Rangavalli will stage `GK Master Pranaya Prasanga,’ a play based on Dr Chandrashekar Kambar’s novel at 7 pm on May 28 at Kalamandir.
The play directed by Jeevan Kumar B Heggodu is about an affair between a middle-aged teacher G K Master and his student Roja. The happily married teacher has a crush on the youngster and it soon transforms into love. The girl Roja, who is an average student, pretends to be in love with the lecturer for the sake of getting marks. She, later, hoodwinks the teacher and elopes with her boyfriend Giriayya. Time makes them realise their mistakes. But is it too late? What happens next forms the climax of the play.
Stage design and lights is also by the ace director himself. He has his hands in thebackground score too along with Udith and Ananya Bhat.
