Going against nature reason behind all the problems: Dr B N Raveesh

Mysuru, August 22:- “Going against nature is the reason behind all the calamities that we are facing today,” opined Dr B N Raveesh of the Department of Psychology of Mysuru Medical College here on Tuesday.

He was speaking after inaugurating the activities of Youth Red Cross Wing at Vidyavardhaka First Grade College on Sheshadri Iyer Road in the city.

“The situation has worsened in Kodagu District and Kerala due to heavy rains. The greed of human beings is behind all these problems. Earlier, canals were constructed for the rainwater to go freely. But with the growing population, houses have been constructed across the canals which have caused disaster. If we stop going against nature, we may stop such natural calamities in the future. Volunteers of Red Cross organisation rush to help the people in need. Their services should be appreciated,” he added.
