Gold chains worth Rs 1.36 lakh snatched by bike-borne culprits at Bogadi

Mysuru, July 21:- Chain snatchers struck again in the city on Friday by robbing a gold chain weighing 68 grams from a woman.

Vasantha Kumari is the victim who lost two gold chains weighing 68 grams worth Rs 1.36 lakh.

According to a complaint filed with Saraswathipuram Police Station, the victim was returning to her home after purchasing milk on Friday morning near Bankers’ Colony main road in Bogadi. While she was walking on the road two bike-borne culprits wearing helmets approached her and snatched her gold chains weighing 56 grams and 12 grams. The duo sped away after snatching the chains even as the victim raised an alarm.

An FIR has been registered at Saraswathipuram Police Station. Investigations are on. -(KK)
