The state government has given importance to rural development and as part of this, a total of Rs 8 crore has been sanctioned to Yalandur taluk under SEP, TSP schemes, said MLA Jayanna.
He was speaking at the ground breaking ceremony of various developmental works at ST colony funded by Public Welfare Department. He said, “With a clear intent to develop rural places across the state and extend support to poor families and backward communities, the state government has launched various schemes. The state government has taken all necessary measures to maintain cleanliness in villages and rural places. As part of this, the taluk has received a fund of Rs 8 crore for various development works.”
On the occasion, Taluk Panchayat Members Venkatesh, Gram Panchayat President Ravi, Vice President Gayathri, Govinda Nayaka, Krishnamurthy, Mahesh, Basavraju and others were present.
