Mysuru, June 13:- “The 15-day time taken by the state government to waive off loans of farmers is getting over in two days. The government should make its stance clear,” said general secretary of Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha (KRRS) and Hasiru Sene, Badagalapura Nagendra at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Wednesday.
“The state government is simply wasting time without taking any decision. Loans at cooperative banks should be paid or renewed before June 16. Or else farmers will have to pay an interest of 12%. State government should announce centres to buy paddy as soon as possible,” he added.
“We welcome giving Higher Education Ministry to G T Devegowda. He has all the ability to handle the ministry. He should come out of inferiority complex,” he said.
