Mysuru, January 14:- Government daily wage labourers staged protest near the deputy commissioner’s office (DC) office here on Monday over various demands.
They urged the government to cancel tender-based recruitment of employees and instead employ them as permanent employees at the work place. The labourers also urged the government to extend amenities to daily wage labourers. They also thanked the government for increasing the house rental allowance to 90% and requested to make it 100 per cent as per the Supreme Court orders. They put forth 27 demands in front of the government.
