Mysuru, February 24:- “It is not enough if you say a government is corruption-free but we need a government that gives impetus to inclusive development,” said JD(S) leader P G R Sindhia. He was speaking at the convention of backward communities held at Dasara exhibition grounds on Saturday.
“JD(S) has given opportunities to the people from backward communities. We have given better job opportunities to backward communities during our governance. JD(S) is committed to economic, social equality in the society. The state needs a government that gives impetus to inclusive development. Devaraja Urs government provided jobs to backward communities based on Devanuru committee report. JD(S) has worked to provide them better job opportunities,” he added.
“Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has brought the state to point of no return. Nobody answered my question about the loans worth Rs 2 lakh crore. They could not even implement the 6th pay commission. Siddaramaiah used backward communities as steps to move up,” said JD(S) spokesperson Ramesh Babu.
