Graduates’ meet of JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research on March 13

Mysuru, March 11:- “JSS Mahavidyalaya and JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research are jointly organising the graduates’ meet at Rajendra Hall of the JSS Medical College at 5 pm on March 13,” said the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of JSS Mahavidyapeetha Dr CG Betsurmath at a press meet held on Tuesday.

“Around 202 students who have completed MBBS will get their degree during the event. They will be administered the oath. This oath will guide the path of every doctor. Nine students will be felicitated with gold medals and cash awards. Topper Dr Preethi Prakash Prabhu will receive 5 gold medals and 5 cash awards. The staff of college will be honoured with Prof YT Tatachari Endowment Award for the best research essay. Seer Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji of Suttur Mutt will deliver an address. Vice-Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education Dr H Vinod will be the chief guest,” he added.

“The Skill and Simulation Centre will be inaugurated on March 14. The centre has been constructed at a cost of Rs 20 crore. District in-charge Minister V Somanna will inaugurate the centre. Vice-Chancellor Dr B Suresh, Dr Surendra Singh will be present,” he added.
