Graduation day held at DPIRS

Mysuru: Graduation! The day of the manifestation of grandeur and emotions for Grade XII students for the academic year 2018- 19 was held at De Paul International Residential School, Mysore on January 31. The day represented the culmination of several years of academic study and the consistent satisfaction of challenging standards of performance.

The chief guest of the function was Prof. Aisha M. Sheriff, former Vice-Chancellor in- charge and present syndicate member of the University of Mysore. The chief guest administered the oath-taking ceremony and presented mementoes and certificates to the fresh graduates.

Nayan Rajesh and Anagha Sridhar, captains of the school of Grade XII moved the audience with a touching speech of their memories of their time in DPIRS. The chief guest, in her address,  congratulated the school and reminded the students of the importance of being prepared for the future. She inspired the graduating students to be visionary and committed to the task they endeavour upon and maintain the ethics in their future life and career.

Rev. Fr. Aneesh Mathew CM, the Principal of DPIRS, felicitated Prof Aisha with a memento as a token of gratitude. As is the De Paulian tradition, the students lit their torches and passed on this passionate light from one to the other. The fresh graduates marched out of the auditorium as the enlightened De Paulians to lead the world.   (MR).
