Mysuru, July 1:- The Graduation Day ceremony of 5th batch of Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and 6thbatch of Post-Graduate Programme for Executives (PGPX), which was attended by its trustees, governing board members, faculty and all the staffs of MYRA, was held at the MYRA School of Business, at Yelawal on June 29 (Saturday).
A batch of 32 students along with their family members attended the ceremony. The cohort which is a diverse group from more than 8 states of the country and a gender ratio of 1:4 have found placements in top banking, IT, consulting, the realty firms in the country.
Chief guest MD Ranganath, Additional Independent Director, HDFC Bank, in his convocation address, shared the 10 guiding principles which he observed and adopted in his illustrious career. His mantra is self-belief, resilience, open-mindedness, move out of comfort zone, no short cuts to success, career is a marathon and not a sprint, live in the present, money is not everything, usage of digital technology and have fun.
Kantharaj Urs, Managing Trustee, Mysore Royal Academy, while addressing the students said “at MYRA, you learned the core values of life, which is integrity, excellence, efficiency and engagement. I would urge you to practice this with humility and stay disciplined. This would certainly make you a ‘Myracle’ for life and help you contribute to society.”
MYRAcles Rohit Bhattacharjee, Arvind Sastry and Sindhu Priya made it to the Dean’s list and Rohit Bhattacharjee, being the topper, made it to the honour board. (MR)
