Grama Sabha meeting held at Yalandur

“Mahathma Gandhi national rural employment scheme is a boon to the rural people. Everyone should make proper use of it” said the Secretary of Yalandur village panchayat Nagesh.

He was speaking in the grama sabha meeting held at Yalandur village panchayat.

“16 lakh rupees have been spent for various developmental activities in the village. 7.5 lakh rupees are spent for the materials for the work. 4,482 labor days are utilised. There are still opportunities for work. Those who have the job card should make use of it” he requested.

Villagers explained their problems at the meeting and officials responded and assured that the problems will be looked after soon. Villagers urged to order all the officials and representatives to attend the meeting regularly.

Taluk panchayat vice-president Padmavati Mahadeva Nayaka, village panchayat president Leelavathi, nodal officer Mahesh, Basavaiah of agricultural department, members R Shivanna, N Shivanna, Siddu, Virupaksha, Nagaraj, Ravi, Rajendra and others were present.
