Mysuru, March 26:- Though the residents of cities remain negligent and careless about coronavirus, villagers have taken care to protect themselves. Residents of Sathagalli and Hanchya villages have put up wooden barricades on the road and made sure that outsiders don’t enter their villages. The villagers said that they are not allowing people from the city to enter the villages.
“We don’t want outsiders to enter the villages. We are healthy and the government has also instructed us to remain indoors. We don’t want outsiders to enter the village until the pandemic recedes. Wherever they are, people should stay there,” said the villagers.
The coronavirus scare which is troubling the entire world has taken a toll of over 20,000 so far. (MR/KS)
