Mysuru, October 7:- Shawls from Jammu and Kashmir, embroidery dresses and ornaments, Mogra statue from Odisha, silk sarees and Kolhapur slippers from Maharashtra are all available at Deepavali Handicraft Fair opened at JSS Urban Haat at Hebbal in the city.
Deputy Commissioner D Randeep inaugurated the fair on Friday.
Deputy Director of Karnataka Police Academy Dr Dharanidevi Malagathi, executive secretary of JSS Mahavidyapeetha Dr C G Betsurmath, Dr C Ranganathaiah, B R Umakanth and others were present.
The event is being organised in association with the Union Textiles Ministry and JSS Mahavidyapeetha.
The fair will be held till October 15 from 10 am to 9 pm. KSRTC is providing special city bus services to the venue.
