HD Deve Gowda goes to Parliament just to sit and not to speak: Srinivas Prasad

Mysuru, March 6:- “Lok Sabha elections are very important. The entire world is looking at India as the 15th Lok Sabha elections will be announced in a few days,” said former minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state vice president V Srinivas Prasad.

He was speaking after inaugurating the meeting of BJP Shakti Kendra Pramukhs at J K Grounds on Wednesday.

“Siddaramaiah, who was saying he will become the chief minister again, lost by a margin of more than 35,000 votes. No one knows where the 17 members of Siddaramaiah’s cabinet have gone. Siddaramaiah joined hands with Janata Dal (Secular) fearing BJP. The situation of Congress has become like a donkey running and jumping into a pit having a tiger. Where is cooperation in the state government? Siddaramaiah has gone with JD(S) fearing Karnataka becoming Congress-free. Congress members hate JD(S) in government. They are fighting among themselves. Congress has become weak,” he said.

“Deve Gowda has chosen Nikhil and Prajwal to go to parliament. Earlier, he used to go holding the hands of Puttaraju and Cheluvaraya Swamy. At this age, he has chosen his grandsons to go to parliament with him. He goes to parliament just to sit and come back. He doesn’t even speak in parliament. He will go to parliament even if he is 90 or 100. Does he need politics at this age? Doesn’t he have any shame?” Prasad questioned.

MP Pratap Simha, MLA S A Ramadass, Niranjan Kumar, Hassan MLA Preetham Gowda, Madikeri MLA Appachu Ranjan, K G Bopaiah, MLC Subramani and others were present. (MR/KS).
