HDK meets aggrieved Vijayashripura residents

Mysuru, September 11:- Vijayashripura residents handed over a request letter to CM H D Kumaraswamy on Tuesday. Members of the association spoke to Kumaraswamy at length and explained their grievances.

They said that a scheme introduced by the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) is in the hands of the government and said that the earlier chief minister had given oral direction to MUDA to take over sites. But MUDA officials, it seems, have said that they cannot sanction all these sites at a time and have asked for the permission of the cabinet to proceed further. The residents requested the chief minister to take a decision to solve the problem that is pending for nearly 30 years.

Ministers G T Devegowda, Sa Ra Mahesh and others accompanied the chief minister. (MR/KS).
