HDK to approach SC in Jantakal Enterprises mining case

Prime News, June 17:- In a significant development JD(S) state president and former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy decided to seek Supreme Court direction to quash Jantakal Enterprises Mining case against him.

HDK said, the state government suppressing the real facts, trying to implicating him in the case, and   consulting the legal fraternity to approach SC next week.

He has done nothing wrong in granting the permission to the firm when he was Chief Minister which is in question, due the wrong facts produced by the state government before the court the probe has been ordered, I am not questioning the legality of probe but I have no role in the case and no supporting documents available.

There is a mala fide intention of State Government, thus requesting the honourable SC to review the case and urged to quash the probe.

Further HDK says, if the records scrutinise carefully, will come to know who is behind the scam, but due to political rivalry his name has been dragged and requesting the SC to drop the charges against him, meanwhile the High court on Thursday directed the Special Investigation Team (SIT) not to arrest him till the next hearing after special Lokayukta Court rejected his anticipatory bail.
