HDK’s malicious intent behind ban on Ola cabs: MLA Ramadass

Mysuru, March 25:- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA S A Ramadass has alleged that Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy’s malicious intent was behind the ban on Ola cabs in Karnataka.

He was addressing a press meet at Mysuru Press Club on Saturday.

“The state government and transport department have brought thousands of families on the streets. There are 75,000 Ola cabs in the state which have now stopped functioning. If there is faulty permission according to law, let the government prohibit Ola. But why this huge blow for a small issue? Cab service was inaugurated in 2017 in the name of HDK cab. But nobody knows what has happened to that. If the state government doesn’t take back its decision, we will take legal action. We will stage a statewide protest with the Ola drivers and their families,” he added.

Corporator B V Manjunath and others were present. (MR/KS).
