Hebbal lake to be rejuvenated by Infosys

The Indian Multinational company Infosys has taken up a preservation plan to rejuvenate city’s Hebbal Lake.

It is said that the IT giant will spend around Rs 20 crore for the conservation of lake and large number of funds will be spent on setting up a treatment plant to prevent the flow of sewage into the lake.

Reportedly, a MoU with the company will be signed soon and the company will commence the restoration work soon after. The Hebbal Lake, which was considered to be a flourishing water body of Mysuru, got polluted over the years, surrounded by industries and houses.
