Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) as per the Supreme Court direction, handed over the possession of 15.06 acre land to the legal heirs of Sardar K B Ramachandra Raje Urs, on Wednesday.
MUDA which had reclaimed 15 acres and 6 guntas of land out of 55 acres from JSS Mahavidyapeetha, handed over the possession of the land to the legal heirs of Sardar K B Ramachandra Raje Urs.
The land which is located at Vijayashreepura area was handed over by MUDA Commissioner Dr M Mahesh to legal heirs Chaduranga Kanthraj Urs, Tripurasundari Devi, Keerthi Malinidevi and Deepa Malinidevi at the JSS Business and Management centre premises. MUDA commissioner signed the possession certificates and handed over them.
The Supreme Court had set September 16, 2016 as dead-line for handing over the land to the legal heirs of late K B Ramachandra Raje Urs. Acting upon which, MUDA officials, led by Dr M Mahesh, visited the land along with Chaduranga Kanthraj Urs and others and showed them the demarcated land in the presence of their advocates.
Later, both MUDA officials and legal heirs of K B Ramachandra Raje Urs arrived at JSS College for Management Studies auditorium where the legal formalities were completed with the MUDA Commissioner signing the possession certificate and later handing over the same to Chaduranga Kanthraj Urs.
