Hi-Tech prostitution racket suspected during Dasara

Mysuru, August 31:- Police department has cautioned the public not to rent their houses without checking the antecedents of tenants. A hi-tech prostitution racket has been clandestinely planned in the heritage. It may become operational before Dasara, the police say.

Plans are on to introduce the racket in the city on likes of prostitution racket that becomes active during Olympics and other mega events. DCP Vishnuvardhan and Vikram Amte have requested the public to think twice before renting out. Houses are usually in demand during the Dasara and it continues for about two months.

The information to bring girls from Bengaluru and Mangaluru for this purpose has worried the police. They are taking all measures to stop such a thing from happening. (MR/KS).
